Conducts routine and follow-up inspections to ensure compliance with International Fire Codes. Performs occupancy compliance checks and inspects special event sites. Conducts after-hours life safety inspections of nightclubs and other assembly occupancies as directed. Works special events and performs fire watch duties. Assists in training the public in fire safety and advises public on general and specific fire and life safety matters. Assists in the formation of evacuation and emergency action plans.
