Land O'Lakes Farm Research Technician This is a permanent part-time position working with young calves. Duties include: feeding of milk replacer and starter, medical evaluation and treatment of animals, administering vaccinations, castrating, dehorning, data collection, bedding and cleaning pens, operating a skid steer, power washing, and other duties as assigned. Some time will also be spent working at the Dairy where you will support dairy production by collecting saleable, high-quality milk from dairy cows, measuring and recording milk weights, and collecting required milk samples for analysis, along with other duties. In this vital role, you will support dairy production and calf management by collecting salable, high-quality milk from dairy cows, measuring and recording milk weights, and collecting required milk samples for analysis. You will also maintain stall beds, flush alleys, assist with moving cows to and from the parlor, and feed and care for newborn calves, including preparing and delivering nightly bottles while monitoring their health and living conditions.
