PEM's Walking Tours will provide tour attendees with accurate and engaging information about the history and architecture of Salem, and the Historic Properties associated with the Peabody Essex Museum. The Walking Tour Supervisor and Guides work in all weather and are responsible for the safety of their tour groups. The Ropes Mansion's Colonial Revival garden brims with plant life and activity all summer long. The garden has been in operation for over a century and welcomes thousands of visitors each year. Volunteers are needed from April through October to help with all aspects of gardening, including planting, pruning, weeding and general care and upkeep.
