Peabody Essex Museum The Peabody Essex Museum's Phillips Library seeks a temporary, project-based Manuscript Processing and Digitization Assistant to aid in the photography of manuscript material from the Phillips Library's collections. Digitized materials come from the Pingree Family Papers, a substantial archival collection of personal manuscripts and business records donated to the Phillips Library by the descendants of the Pingree Family of Salem, Massachusetts. The assistant will be responsible for photographing select materials according to established standards and local practices on our DT Versa and BC-100 systems. The Ropes Mansion's Colonial Revival garden brims with plant life and activity all summer long. The garden has been in operation for over a century and welcomes thousands of visitors each year. Volunteers are needed from April through October to help with all aspects of gardening, including planting, pruning, weeding and general care and upkeep.
