Job Summary:
The Account Manager I is responsible for customer commercial and relationship management activities.
Essential functions of the job:
Support customer commercial and relationship management activities, including but not limited to:
Pricing, proposal development and negotiations.
Delivering and receiving information directly with the customer, including supporting problem solving.
Visiting customer sites and gathering information including business opportunities, volumes, capacity, and financial status.
Fulfilling customer requirements to address pricing and commercial needs that include creation of customers' price breakdown forms, tooling price breakdown forms, and various requests for information needed to support commercial issues and claims.
Securing PO's and release to internal departments.
Populating customers' online quotation systems when needed.
