Pouch Machine Operator produces high quality flexible packaging products for Medical, Commercial & Industrial applications.
Requires hands on machinery set-up & operation.
Monitoring in-process product & making machine adjustments to maintain product quality.
Must have mechanical aptitude, with an attention for detail. Basic math skills & comprehension of ruler measurements required. Ability to read work orders and maintain required documentation.

General Description: Produce high quality, slit and heat-sealed flexible packaging products by meeting quality assurance standards, customer specifications, production scheduling and safety requirements in an efficient and timely manner. 1. Prepares production setup and output of Flexible Packaging Machine, following product requirements from order ticket 2. Maintains optimum production rate, registration, and quality. Makes periodic machine adjustments as needed. 3. Assures that production specifications and quality assurance directives are effectively implemented. Responsible for quality of final product produced. 4. Maintains continuous inspection of job specifications and quality throughout run, collecting production run samples as required. 5. Maintains manufacturing and QA data collection and documentation as required. 6. Maintains accurate count of output and packs final goods based on customer specifications. 7. Cleans up, maintains and organizes immediate work area and machine tools. 8. Performs other duties as required to achieve goals and objectives of company. |

Work experience requirements: Ability to read, comprehend and apply written instruction. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Ability to read and comprehend ruler measurements. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 75 lbs. Job requires sitting and standing while using a variety of fine and gross motor repetitive motions over a period of several days. |
