University of Michigan Job Summary Provide safe and effective nursing care as assigned to our congenital and acquired heart disease patients, ranging in age from newborn to adulthood. This position is a float position within the division, providing flexible coverage and assistance with the increasing work of the nurses in the department. This work includes: Pre and post procedural care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and/or electrophysiology procedure, administering medication and providing vital sign and EKG monitoring for imaging studies including echocardiogram studies. Additionally, this position provides up to moderate sedation for pediatric patients undergoing echocardiogram studies.
