Corrective and preventive maintenance of high-speed canning line and auxiliary equipment. Facilities maintenance, boilers, air compressors, glycol systems, lighting, plumbing, etc. Train and help develop operators and line employees Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing non-maintenance personnel on the safe operation of all equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. Help with sanitation and care of all equipment. Completes all tasks and assignments given from Operations Manager in a timely manner. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. This will include working weekends and off shift hours on occasion. Having a flexible schedule and ability to work long hours. Qualifications: 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience. Able to read blue prints and schematics. Good working knowledge electricity. 3-phase high and low voltage. Single phase voltage and DC control voltage. Good working knowledge of Plumbing. Pneumatics, hydraulics, water, gas and steam. Basic knowledge of PLC, VFD, and control circuitry Food manufacturing experience preferred (knowledge of canning a plus) Must have excellent troubleshooting skills Must have own tools Must be physically fit enough to preform duties of the job to include but not limited to squatting, stooping, kneeling, crawling, lifting, twisting, etc. Must be able to work in hot and cold environments. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Cannot be afraid of heights.
