21030 MATERIAL COORDINATOR The Material Coordinator coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors' priorities. In this job, the Material Coordinator reviews production schedules and confers with department supervisors to determine material required or overdue and to locate material, requisitions material and establishes delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of material; arranges for in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules, and with department supervisors for repair and assembly of material and its transportation to various departments, and examines material delivered to production departments to verify if type specified. This Worker may monitor and control movement of material and parts along conveyor system, using remote-control panel board, compute amount of material needed for specific job orders, applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes and using adding machine; compile report of quantity and type of material on hand, move or transport material from one department to another, using hand or industrial truck; may compile perpetual production records in order to locate material in process of production, using manual or computerized system, and maintain employee records.   Clarification of Duties on the NGEN Contract (duties that fall into this category that are not clearly outlined by the DOL as APPROVED by DOL, Legal and HR):                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 -          Computer Work.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    While not the main function of a Material Coordinator, a good portion of the tasks a Coordinator will complete, involve computer work. Contracts range from 5 to 12 months The McMurdo Line Crew performs overhead and underground power distribution installation and maintenance, working with voltages up to 4160 volts utilizing design drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams, in accordance with applicable codes.  Requirements: Current Journeyman Lineman license, jurisdictions equivalent, or proof of holding a Journeyman Lineman Union card. Minimum four years of experience in all phases of the lineman trade including rough wiring, power distribution wiring and installation and maintenance of power distribution systems, installation of conduit and wiring of electrical equipment. Experience working with voltages of 4160. Understanding of National Electrical Code Grounding and Bonding requirements. U.S./State Vehicle Operators License is required and CDL is preferred. Responsibilities: Create CAD models and detailed drawings to capture process, dimensions, inspection and other pertinent engineering information utilizing knowledge of engineering principles Work with other engineers and designers to ensure consistent quality of engineering design output Collaborate as needed with shop employees regarding designs in manufacturing. Qualifications: A.S. Engineering with Mechanical /Electrical focus or equivalent experience preferred. Experience: Proficiency in the use of 2D CAD (Autodesk preferred) with strong knowledge in electrical schematics / wiring diagrams. Proficiency in the use of 3D CAD (Autodesk preferred) with experience packaging electrical components. SAP experience preferred, but not required. Excellent written / verbal communication skills, and time management. High level of initiative with the ability to work independently and as part of a broader team. Experience with the design of industrial heavy equipment and machinery desired. Understanding of manufacturing techniques and assembly processes desired.

PAE is seeking Linemen to support scientific research at McMurdo Station Antarctica! Contracts range from 5 to 12 months The McMurdo Line Crew performs overhead and underground power distribution installation and maintenance, working with voltages up to 4160 volts utilizing design drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams, in accordance with applicable codes.  Requirements: Current Journeyman Lineman license, jurisdictions equivalent, or proof of holding a Journeyman Lineman Union card. Minimum four years of experience in all phases of the lineman trade including rough wiring, power distribution wiring and installation and maintenance of power distribution systems, installation of conduit and wiring of electrical equipment. Experience working with voltages of 4160. Understanding of National Electrical Code Grounding and Bonding requirements. U.S./State Vehicle Operators License is required and CDL is preferred.
