Job Summary The Project Manager oversees complex projects thought the project life cycle to ensure fulfillment of contract requirements and program objectives. Principal Accountabilities Plan and organize the management of a project, task order, series of smaller projects or a definable piece of a larger program to ensure a successful completion, and that performance goals, consistent with contract agreements, government regulations and program objectives, are met or exceeded. Oversee and monitor project financial status and performance to maintain contract budget guidelines and schedules. Ensure sufficient and proper utilization of personnel, materials, funds, facilities, and equipment. Act as primary contact for project matters between customers/clients and company leadership, provide briefings on project status, successes, and issues. Provide clear direction to employees regarding compliance with applicable company, customer, and host nation standards of conduct. Instill a culture of continuous improvement and high performance, and ensure that health, morale, and welfare requirements are met. Conduct regular meetings with customers/clients to ensure all requirements in the Statement of Work are met, changes in scope or workload are discussed and contractually documented, impacts are identified, and issues get resolved. Support higher level program managers by contributing to the development of comprehensive project plans, including long and short range goals and milestones. Design and construct Work Breakdown Schedules (WBS) to support programs, proposals and engineering projects. Perform other qualified duties as required. Knowledge & Skills Ability to develop, write, enact and enforce policies and procedures that will result in ISO certification. Advanced knowledge of program management operations and land system component repair and return operations. Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks independently. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (ex. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and MS Project. Excellent leadership, decision-making, verbal/written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Additional knowledge/skills will vary by contract or assignment. Experience & Education Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline preferred. Minimum five (5) years' experience in project management. PMP certification preferred. Physical Requirements/Working Environment Generally works in normal office environment.
