Civil Engineer I/II/Sr 119-190 The City of Overland Park has a Civil Engineer position available in the Public Works Department. Responsibilities: Manages the design and construction of thoroughfare, street, bridge, storm sewer and maintenance projects with primary emphasis on stormwater maintenance and improvements. Prepares plans, specifications and contract documents for engineering projects. Administers Overland Park Municipal Codes 15.09 relating to stormwater detention. Operates computer software to assist in the administration of Overland Park Municipal Codes. Responds to citizen inquiries. Assists in the operation and maintenance of the flood warning system. Provides leadership for all team-based activities to include project management team and task groups. Participates in the development of the five-year Capital Improvement Program. Overview The Sr Operations Financial Analyst provides financial leadership for the Britton plant to the Director of Manufacturing and the plant management staff.
