The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Marketing and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. The Wholesale Global Product Management Team applies functional and subject matter expertise to deliver and manage a high quality, highly differentiated product suite of transaction banking products sold to the Financial Institution Group (FIG) customer segment. Operating in close partnership with the FIG line of business, this product area is dedicated to meeting customer needs through the innovative design and delivery of new core products, enhancements to existing products and fundamental transformation projects. Close partnerships with Customer Service, Implementations, Technology and Operations ensure this product area maintains a primary focus on differentiated product development, revenue enablement, and delivery optimization. Strategic focus includes alignment with the changing compliance landscape and opportunities to further align with emerging international and domestic platform assets as payments continue to evolve globally. We focus on creating operating efficiencies, cost savings and time savings for our customers by delivering global solutions through a consultative approach. Our customers are financial institutions located in markets around the world, including the US. Responsibilities This role will be responsible for supporting strategic initiatives working across the FIG, SWIFT and Transformation Product Management teams as well as the other Global Product Management disciplines in support of payments transformation and strategic platforming of FIG and Enterprise solutions. Additional responsibilities include: Coordinating and facilitating work across cross-functional teams (Product, Technology, Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Risk and other key business partners) for the purpose of eliciting and documenting detailed business requirements, specifically related to cross-border USD and cross-currency (FX) payments. Gathering customer required features in the correspondent space for USD and multi-currency solutions, and determine the must-have features and functionality. Customers include both financial institutions and other customers who execute a large number of cross-border payments. Specific concentration on cyber security and wire anomaly monitoring and data analysis and proposal of monitoring strategies. Monitoring marketplace trends to identify relevant changes in competitive product features and functionality, technology, economic and market conditions, and the global regulatory environment. Using data analysis of traffic at the bank and across the market to substantiate the case for investment in innovate strategies for the correspondent space. Taking ownership for optimizing customer satisfaction, maximizing product revenue, controlling costs, improving efficiency, mitigating risk, and ensuring compliance. Collaborating with, coordinating, and supporting multiple business partners including; sales, relationship management, marketing, foreign exchange, payment strategy, marketing, technology, operations, customer care, implementation, compliance, risk, and legal. Interacting with many roles and levels within the organization, including senior leadership, major stakeholders, PMOs, peer teams and third party vendors Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in product management, strategic planning or a combination of both, with one or a combination of the following: treasury, trade or payments products Desired Qualifications Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills A BS/BA degree or higher Other Desired Qualifications 5+ years of experience in international banking with knowledge of US Dollar or multicurrency clearing and the correspondent banking business. Experience in planning and development of new products for the USD or multicurrency clearing, including leadership or sponsorship of the development process. Familiarity with current challenges in high value cross-border payments and global banking, including knowledge of SWIFT gpi, Real Time Payment schemas, ISO 20022 or payment transformation. Ability to lead a diverse, cross-functional team of business partners and stakeholders to a common goal. Proven ability to successfully partner and work across numerous support organizations. Experience in the creation and delivery of presentations for senior management. Ability to drive product innovation based on evolving customer needs, technological evolution, and dynamic market conditions. Proficient in the use of analytical tools such as spreadsheets and databases to conduct analyses Analytical capabilities utilized to identify root cause issues/improvement opportunities, and designing approaches/programs/products to address customer issues and needs.
