It all begins with you. Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services. This position will be responsible for the reconciliation and regulatory reporting of various Treasury products, such as investment portfolio securities, affiliate funding, internal loan participations and short-term/long-term debt products. Responsibilities would include the preparation and review of daily and monthly reconciliations for cash accounts, various general ledger accounts, system to system accounts; using various Accounting systems for research and analysis and participation in various project teams. The candidate would need to be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. They would need strong communication skills, analytical skills and attention to detail. It would require strong organizational skills and high level of accuracy. They would need to be adaptable and flexible to change. The position does offer the opportunity to learn a variety of products and interact with other groups such as Treasury, Capital Markets, Public Funds, Regulatory Reporting, and various other business lines. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics, financial reporting, accounting reporting or risk reporting; or a BS/BA or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, or Business and 1+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics, financial reporting, accounting reporting or risk reporting Desired Qualifications 5+ years of accounting experience Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles: general ledger reconciliation Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, finance, or accounting Ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting Other Desired Qualifications Experience with Regulatory Reporting and the month end general ledger close process Experience with SimCorp Dimension System Experience with WallStreet Suite System General knowledge of Wells Fargo legal entity structure Experience will Oracle GL / Irisweb Experience with Securities and Debt Instruments Experience with Accounting Systems Street Address MN-Minneapolis: 550 South 4th St - Minneapolis, MN NC-Charlotte: 1525 W Wt Harris Blvd - Charlotte, NC Disclaimer All offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
