PricewaterhouseCoopers A career in Sales and Marketing, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long term revenue growth for the Firm. You'll focus on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell the PwC's brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluating our pricing strategies in the marketplace. Our Thought Leadership team helps our professionals deliver targeted thought leadership to our clients on relevant business topics. As part of the team, you'll support PwC with brand positioning, business marketing, and sales efforts through publications and speeches. Responsibilities As a Director, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Proactively lead the practise by setting strategy, drive the development of new business in the market, and provide technical advice across disciplines Building strong networks within the firm to spot and capitalise on opportunities to get involved in projects that others are leading across a number of different business units and sectors Identifying and discussing key issues with our clients to identify potential opportunities Responsibility for a majority of day to day client communications Responsibility to shape and deliver various projects that exceed the expectations of our clients and our own assignment quality criteria Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team Responsibility for management of engagement financials Helping to grow and develop our team through hands on training and coaching Job Requirements and Preferences : Basic Qualifications : Minimum Degree Required : High School Diploma Minimum Years of Experience : 8 year(s) Preferred Qualifications : Degree Preferred : Bachelor Degree Preferred Knowledge/Skills : Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success, directing efforts in the understanding of industry, business and management trends and issues in the following areas: - Industry trends and new thinking, in the development and delivery of Thought Leadership; - Competitive positioning of content (in various formats and channels) produced by professional services organizations and top tier media companies; - Key business issues our clients are facing, as they relate to our firm's capabilities, brand positioning, and growth plans; and, - Proven track record in publishing, via portfolio of written work. Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts leading and being a strategic business partner for a professional services firm, emphasizing the following: - Frame core ideas (developmental editorial), write, and edit content on business issues; - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, leverage a complex, matrix organizational structure and establish priorities serving a diverse stakeholder group; - Communicate with senior leadership in a matrixed organization. Manage stakeholder expectations; - Conduct independent research, including conducting interviews, and partner with internal resources to help develop our distinctive point of view on specific topics that impact the financial services industry; - Translate industry trends into understandable summaries for all channels, including white papers, video interviews, digital interactive content, webinars, and social media; - Form an actionable plan to drive forward change that aligns with strategic vision of the team; - Manage and coach junior staff, including facilitating training sessions; - Approach projects with intellectual curiosity using an analytical and quantitative mindset, including performing analytics of large datasets; - Learn and adapt to new ways of thinking and presenting content, including helping our team develop content for the digital age - blogging, videos, interactive graphics, etc.; - Establish that content aligns with business goals and adheres to Firm brand standards, style guides, as well as risk and compliance guidelines; - Take on willingly various roles and assignments, demonstrating flexibility when priorities change; - Present findings succinctly, in written, verbal, and charts/infographics forms, in order to illustrate key messages and trends; - Help shape the strategy for thought leadership in the firm, to more closely align the work, processes, and operations of the Integrated Content organization to the firm's goals; and, - Lead in learning new tools to apply new techniques in the development and delivery of content.
