Concrete finishers are responsible for the final aesthetic appearance of finished concrete components. Finishers are usually part of a concrete crew and are responsible for aiding or completing various stages of the concrete process such as forming, pouring, rodding, and treating or curing concrete surfaces and must furnish small hand tools to complete those basic functions. Some projects may also include concrete patching, repair, or restoration. Concrete finishers report directly to the concrete foreman or superintendent depending on the size of the job.
Prefer 3 years experience in setting forms (carpenter) and placement of concrete for flatwork (i.e., sidewalks, driveways, curb & gutter, etc. Experience in structural concrete a plus (box culverts, irrigation structures, etc.)
Must be able to pass a 7-year background check and pre-hire drug testing.
