You'll focus on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell the PwC's brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluating our pricing strategies in the marketplace. Our Marketing and Public Relations team is responsible for PwC's external media relations and social media strategy. Job Requirements and Preferences : Basic Qualifications : Minimum Degree Required : High School Diploma Minimum Years of Experience : 2 year(s) Preferred Qualifications : Degree Preferred : Bachelor Degree Preferred Fields of Study : Business Administration/Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications Studies/Speech Communication and Rhetoric, Advertising Preferred Knowledge/Skills : Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in media strategy at local and national levels, preferably with a professional services firm or a public relations agency in a B2B context, accomplishing key objectives in the following areas: - Utilizing social media strategy and activation, working within various platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Medium, etc.); - Applying media and social media strategies in the proper context in order to enhance the visibility of the Firm and its subject matter experts; - Understanding of social media research, analytic tools, strategies and trends, including search engine optimization and marketing, leveraging social-oriented tools (e.g., Bitly, Hootsuite, SocialBro, Radian6); and, - Understanding of the news cycle, how the media landscape is changing and apply that to the Firm and its strategies. Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas: - Building and maintaining a solid network of media contacts; pitches stories, working effectively with key press contacts and PwC spokespeople to secure positive stories around the firm's POV on key issues; - Activating social media campaigns through the appropriate channels, overseeing paid social media campaigns, providing guidance to senior members and marketers on social media strategy; - Writing, editing and proofreading plans, blogs/op-eds, campaigns and materials ensuring quality and consistency with appropriate writing styles; - Utilizing project management skills to manage multiple projects at one time in a fast paced environment; and, - Collaborating effectively with managers and directors on strategic priorities and projects (research, events, media pitching, social media marketing and distribution).
