Our Industrial division continues to grow/serve our base and legacy industrial customers, by bolting on new Remediation related initiatives and services. We are seeking a world class Sr. Technical Consultant with a diverse background in Environmental services and remediation techniques, to provide technical direction on projects in Industrial Wastewater, Chemical plants, and Emerging contaminants. In this role, we expect this individual to identify and assist our project teams, in executing remediation programs for our customers. You will be expected to lead and consult with both our internal teams, as well as our customers on remediation issues and drive sustainable remediation practices. Responsibilities will include: Providing the development of and technical direction on the many issues with Emerging contaminants and their impact on the environment. Market and promote Parsons' world-class environmental/Industrial expertise in remediation and develop/ build on our key client and industry relationships to further develop our business across the US. Identify and work with clients directly in discussions about the technical and regulatory challenges faced with emerging contaminant investigations and promote Parsons' expertise and abilities to address these challenges. Develop solutions to handle the analysis, and clean-up of these substances in the field This is a casual/temporary position and the individual can be located out of a home office near one of our major Parsons offices, expected (planned) travel to site locations around the country. J ob Requirements: 4-year degree (minimum) or MS in Chemical Engineering 20 + years of related environmental engineering work experience focusing on remediation Technical Expertise with emerging contaminants, environmental remediation for Chemical plants, and Industrial Wastewater treatment methods, Demonstrate success in working in a team environment, being an excellent team player as well as a leader. Ability to develop new project opportunities and expand our business through client development Willingness to train and develop junior employees is expected. _ Ready for action?
