Job Summary
Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled work and providing general maintenance and repairs associated with the sustainment and operations of live fire ranges. Areas of work may include equipment, buildings, facilities and grounds, and associated components requiring practical skill and knowledge
in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical work, and grounds maintenance.
The job is seasonal and runs from March through November. (There is a break from work from December to early March.) Essential Responsibilities:
Performs grounds maintenance to include cutting of grass and
maintenance of berms, firing points, and other range associated grounds.
Operates work related vehicles and equipment including but
not limited to gasoline or diesel-powered mowers, tow trailers, load materials,
or equipment.
Performs general maintenance on equipment and machinery. Minimum Requirements
