The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company. Within Wells Fargo Compliance, the Enterprise Testing team is responsible for the development and design of methodologies and standards for review activities across the Enterprise in alignment with the Risk Management Framework, and ensuring effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks, and controls according to standards and other applicable policies. The Enterprise Testing Associate role is an individual contributor that will be focused initially on the development and execution of internal compliance and control reviews and expanding to encompass self-assurance activity validation across various business processes for Wholesale Corporate and Investment Banking. This position will conduct testing engagements in accordance with the Enterprise Testing Operating Procedures and other applicable corporate policies or procedures and will be focused on the Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions lines of business. Specific Job Responsibilities include: Execute moderately complex reviews with limited assistance and guidance of more senior team members and manager. Conduct process walkthroughs, identifying and understanding primary/key controls. Assist with the development of effective test plans, execute review activities in an effective manner, accurately evaluate risks, control design and the suite of controls, exhibit appropriate judgment regarding issues, and assist with preparation and communication of findings and compliance activity reports. Fully understand the testing process and ensure review activity is consistent with Testing Program standards. Complete all reviews and other projects on time and within acceptable quality standards; raise schedule delays to the review activity lead and/or manager; proactively assist others facing resource constraints. Complete all documentation under supervision and appropriately retain all work papers (testing schedule, templates, work-papers, deferrals, deviations, etc). Escalate any potential issues and/or emerging risks discovered during a review activity to a review lead, and follow through on reporting, escalation, and resolution. Work with review lead and/or manager to ensure issues and recommendations are clearly communicated to business partners, control executive team, compliance, Enterprise Testing leaders and any other applicable stakeholders based on substantive evidence compiled during the testing engagement. Demonstrate ability to identify and utilize multiple resources to conduct research, learn and apply regulations and processes. Proactively identify potential risks to Wells Fargo based on risks identified across the industry through consent orders and news publications. Act as subject matter expert regarding testing topics for the line of business and/or a line of business function Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in risk (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management demonstrated through work or military) or 1+ year in the foregoing or financial services industry and a BS/BA degree or higher in business or a related field Desired Qualifications Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner A BS/BA degree or higher Advanced Microsoft Office skills Solid critical thinking skills Strong analytical and quantitative skills Other Desired Qualifications Experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk and Testing Demonstrated proficiency with statistical analysis and sampling techniques Knowledge of corporate policies and procedures and regulations such as those related to enterprise testing Knowledge and understanding of wholesale banking products and services Familiarity with corporate Operational Risk Platform tools such as SHRP High degree of initiative A team player with collaborative work style Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines despite competing priorities Good attention to details, accuracy, and quality of work Audit or compliance related certification such as the CPA, CIA, CAM, CRCM, etc. Salary Information The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
