The Product Marketing & Communications Manager within the Investment Products Group of Wells Fargo Advisors reports to the Director of Packaged Investment Products. Responsibilities include coordinating marketing & communication efforts for Investment Products, including advisory programs, traditional investment products, and alternative investments. This role involves interacting and creating strong partnerships with the Investment Products Group, Relationship Management, Advice & Research Group, Wells Fargo Investment Institute, Business Development Group, Communications Governance, and Field Information Strategies and Compliance. The Product Marketing & Communications Manager has the primary responsibility to: Serve as the lead Qualified Supervisor in the review of third party materials utilized by WFA for training and education initiatives Develop communications and marketing materials for the Investment Products Groups as needed for products, operations, and training Develop project plans for implementation of product launches or campaigns Maintain the communications books/records for Investment Product Group in keeping with current Compliance policies and procedures Creating, updating and maintaining Investment Product Group InfoMAX® intranet site Managing a team of Product Marketing & Communication associates responsible for marketing, communications, publishing, project management, and metrics for Investment Products Group. As a Team Member Manager , you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will: Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them. Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks. Required Qualifications Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 exam to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents) 6+ years of product management experience, product development experience, or a combination of both 4+ years of management experience Desired Qualifications FINRA registration including Series 24 (or FINRA recognized equivalents) FINRA registration including Series 66 (or FINRA recognized equivalents) Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge and understanding of communications development in financial services industry Other Desired Qualifications Experience writing and editing financial industry communications 2+ years brokerage industry experience Experience with financial industry products Experience creating presentation materials for Senior Leaders Experience with firm policies such as Brand, Intellectual Property, Sales Practice, and Communications Compliance Experience creating and implementing sales ideas and activity to achieve goals, including written sales ideas, presentations, and developing intranet sites. Undergraduate degree strongly preferred Proficient with SDL Tridion, Lyris, ComplianceMAX, and Microsoft® Office Strong attention to detail to ensure all communications are accurate, well-written and in the right voice for the intended audience Strong prioritization and follow-up skills Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
