The role of the Technical  Manager is to plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of projects and technology initiatives. This role is a member of the Development team and reports directly to the Development, Director or VP. CNSI supports a high-volume healthcare data system that is accessed through multiple web portals. Job Summary The Laser Engineering Technician II performs Laser designation support of for NAVAIR test ranges at China Lake CA. Support shall include operations, maintenance, repair, modification, and documentation of Range laser designators and associated test instrumentation. Documentation includes but is not limited to test logs, maintenance logs, SOPs, Operational Risk Management (ORMs), problem reports, draft change requests, presentations, and drawings. The Laser Engineering Technician II work is reviewed on completion; non-routine work may be reviewed in progress. Typical duties are: a. Following specific instructions, assembles or constructs simple or standard equipment or parts, servicing or repairing simple instruments or equipment; b. Conducting a variety of tests using established methods, preparing test specimens, adjusting and operating equipment, recording test data, and pointing out deviations resulting from equipment malfunction or observational errors; c. Extracting engineering data from various prescribed but non-standardized sources, processing the data following well-defined methods including elementary algebra and geometry, and presenting the data in prescribed form. The candidate needs to have basic understanding of personal computers, printers, and Microsoft Office skills.  Education/Experience Required A minimum of a High School diploma is required. Candidate must have a good understanding of computers, excellent communication skills, and strong team values. The candidate must be able to lift and carry 30lbs of equipment.
