Enterprise Finance The Enterprise Finance organization is made-up of a group of enterprise functions that drive Wells Fargo's financial management, corporate development, corporate properties and corporate security, and corporate strategy. We do that by providing strategic advice, subject matter expertise, innovative solutions, and effective tools to Wells Fargo businesses around the world. Controllers Division The Controllers Division delivers subject matter expertise, counsel, governance, and oversight for all Wells Fargo controllership activities to the business units and staff groups. The division includes the following functional areas: Accounting Business Unit Support, Accounting Operations, Accounting Policy, Enterprise Controls & Oversight, Enterprise Financial Reporting, Supply Chain Management, and Corporate Tax. Third Party Center of Excellence Late last year, Wells Fargo formed the Third Party Center of Excellence (COE) to manage and mitigate risks and to drive enterprise consistency in third party program execution. The COE is a foundational element to third-party risk management target operating model (TOM) developed in alignment with the new Risk Management Framework and industry-leading practices and will provide service delivery to Wells Fargo's lines of business and enterprise functions across all aspects of third party engagements, while preserving core business owners' activities. The Position This leadership role is accountable for managing the procure-to-pay (P2P) function within the Third Party COE. This team is responsible for all aspects of the procurement and payment processes of the Company and comprised of the following functions: Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Sales & Use Tax, and FATCA Compliance. Procure-to-Pay provides oversight to and manages the company-wide procure-to-pay program. It ensures appropriate controls are established with third party service providers and that the products and services meet Wells Fargo's standards of quality, service, and availability, while minimizing transaction processing and execution risk. Procure-to-Pay is responsible for maintaining third-party service provider listings, creating purchase orders and requisitions, leveraging third party service providers to negotiate competitive pricing, minimizing risks third party service provider non-compliance, and managing payments to third party service providers. The successful leader will partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and execute solutions and set strategic direction for the team. Driving continual improvement in processes to improve execution quality and efficiency are paramount to the role. In addition, the leader will be responsible for the management, recruitment, and development of the broader group of Team Members within the vertical. Additional leadership efforts may include responsibilities related to financial and management reporting, performance management, hiring, and operational oversight. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Guide, direct, and facilitate the execution of the Company's P2P strategies • Ensure a well-managed and strong control environment, which include focusing on preventative, detective, and corrective controls to identify, monitor, manage, mitigate, and report third party risk • Ensure compliance with applicable global laws, rules, and regulations • Ensure adequate accounting and reporting to meet Wells Fargo's financial reporting responsibilities Manage risks associated with accounting, processing, and reporting on behalf of our line of business partners in 42 countries Accounting and control services for Wells Fargo's 7.5 million accounts payable transactions totaling $15 billion annually Accounting and control services for Wells Fargo's 9 million employee expense reporting transactions in over 85 currencies, totaling $800 million annually Completing Internal Revenue Service filings covering 21 thousand suppliers, completing 15 thousand sales and use tax, and 7,500 business license filings annually, while ensuring our lines of business comply with international, federal, state, and local laws • Ensuring sufficient payment information is captured to meet Wells Fargo's regulatory and financial reporting requirements, which include the reporting of federal, state, and local taxes, and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) screening, and to avoid duplicate payments • Managing multi-currency payment programs, as necessary • Lead continuous improvement programs challenging legacy processes, systems, and data management • Prioritize advancement of ERP technology and additional AI capabilities to deliver efficiencies and mitigate risk • Drive transformation roadmap to strengthen the global P2P operating model • Lead and oversee the global team located in the US, India, and the Philippines, while operating an on/offshore, 'follow the sun' delivery model • Recommend solutions, provide analysis, and consolidate platforms to improve integration and streamline processes in accordance with enterprise efficiency and effectiveness efforts • Lead the team to minimize customization of solutions, focus on configurations, and advise on opportunities for standardization • Deliver end-to-end business process mapping of all global processes to identify and prioritize additional automation, RPA, and process elimination outcomes • Champion a culture of 'paperless' and 'touchless' priorities to eliminate unnecessary activities and redeploy resources toward higher value activities • Standardize and optimize approaches to further expand early bill pay opportunities, optimizing contractual payment terms, increasing annual value of run rate reductions • Lead an 'Everything on PO' initiative to move approvals up the value chain • Communicate and collaborate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders, drive stakeholder engagement, and facilitate organizational change management • Define and measure performance by analyzing and interpreting key metrics in alignment with strategic priorities This position will be based in St. Louis, MO; Chandler, AZ; Minneapolis, MN; Charlotte, NC; Des Moines, IA Required Qualifications 12+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: procurement, supply chain, finance, or accounting 10+ years of management experience Desired Qualifications 8+ years of procurement and supply chain management experience Financial services industry experience Ability to manage supply chain strategies and demand planning and service implications of advanced growth models Knowledge and understanding of procurement, provisioning, or invoicing functions support Knowledge and understanding of technology project management: large scale development projects, including data migrations and third party vendor integrations Other Desired Qualifications Proven ability to partner with key senior leaders in order to drive change and accountability across an organization High degree of initiative and strong ability to meet key responsibilities with limited direction and oversight Strong leadership, relationship building, and collaboration skills Knowledge and understanding of procure-to-pay processes Knowledge and understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP) technologies, including: Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP Experience working with senior bank management, with strong organizational and time management skills Disclaimer All offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
