Focused on delivering unsurpassed services in support of law enforcement and homeland security, FSA, a rapidly growing joint venture owned by trusted solutions providers SAIC and AECOM, has an immediate vacancy for a part-time Quality Assurance (QA) Manager in its Corporate Headquarters office. The QA Manager executes the following duties: * Develops a strong understanding of the goals and objectives established for the organization by its senior management. * Works with key personnel to identify, analyze, document, and improve processes and procedures pertinent to the goals and objectives of the organization and the needs of its customers. * Promotes policies, processes, procedures and quality objectives with the aim of increasing the awareness, motivation and involvement of all employees. * Coordinates the development, implementation, and monitoring of contract specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plans, as appropriate. * Facilitates continual improvement through vision and objective setting, objective measurement, and hands-on mentoring. * Implements a comprehensive internal audit and metric program to assure the continued effectiveness of plans, processes and procedures; define and track quality and service delivery objectives and metrics. * Champions process improvement initiatives and identify and institutionalize best practices. * Interfaces and collaborate with senior management, peers, customers, and vendors in response to identified and potential quality issues. * Drives corrective and preventative action as needed. * Supports business development activities through Quality Assurance review and planning. * Maintains FSA's custom Performance Issue Management System (PIMS). * Trains new hires on QMS policies, processes, procedures and tools. * Continues professional education in order to provide guidance on recognized and emerging quality standards and techniques. * Other QA related tasks, as directed. Minimum Educational Requirements * Four-year college degree with at least two years of Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QA/QC) management experience; or at least 5 years of total (QA/QC) experience with two years of (QA/QC) management experience. * Experience in Internal/external auditing of work efforts. Skills/Qualifications Required: * Demonstrated leadership in developing, implementing, and executing quality programs. * Strong familiarity with the ISO 9001:2015 standard, to include prior experience of the ISO 9001 Registration process. * Ability to identify and research inefficiencies and inaccuracies in departmental processes and procedures and to propose and implement solutions to improve performance. * Strong project management skills/ability to multi-task and prioritize. * Strong Microsoft Office skills (including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word).
