Amplity Health Neurology Representative Position Summary: The Neurology Representative engages Health Care Professionals (HCPs) in face to face discussions to promote assigned client product(s), maximize the product(s)' selling potential and meet program and Client objectives. The Neurology Representative achieves this by developing and maintaining relationships with HCPs and educating them about product features, benefits, safety profile and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use. The Neurology Representative utilizes approved tools and resources for product promotion and maintains a competent level of product, territory and customer activity knowledge. Essential Duties/Responsibilities : Create and implement strategically sound business plans and tactical strategies within the assigned geographic territory to achieve individual, territory and company goals for sales, market share, call metrics, appropriate sample distribution, etc. Manage daily sales call activity according to defined expectations, with the purpose of influencing customers and increasing product sales: On behalf of Client, promote Client's product(s) via live interactions with assigned HCP targets, engaging them in in-depth program . Profile and manage a list of HCP targets and provide value-added benefits to grow product volume. Maintain call productivity and metrics that are required by program. Be a proactive business partner and where necessary make the 'total office call' Manage promotional budget. Listen and respond appropriately to customer needs and questions. Works to change the prescriber mindset and behavior Effectively and persuasively communicate with customers using effective selling, listening and negotiation skills, proper terminology and approved messaging. Maintain thorough knowledge of Client product(s) and program. Verify and complete required data entry in Client CRM system, such as details of the target's responses and any follow-through actions. Maintain a positive working relationship with the assigned Area Business Leader who will be providing day to day coaching, sales and strategy direction; appropriately follow through on all feedback from field rides, coaching discussions and team meetings. Collaborates with all team members to share information and best practices and celebrates successes Create and maintain a positive impression with client and client's customers. Prepare reports for management as needed. Fully comply with all laws, regulations and Amplity's Policies, Code of Conduct, all privacy and data guidelines, relevant state and federal laws and regulations and terms and conditions prescribed in the Sample Administration Agreements and PDMA Guidelines. Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of vouchers for all appropriately signed vendor invoices properly submitted for payment. Ensures that invoices are properly prepared and paid within the terms of payment required by the vendor.  Ensures that invoices presented for payment are properly signed by the cognizant cost center manager, and that appropriate guidance is annotated so that general ledger codes, if not already noted on the invoice, can be assigned. Ensures that invoices not signed or otherwise properly prepared for processing are returned to the cognizant cost center manager expeditious for processing and resubmission. Employee expense reports are received with appropriate approvals. Enters into AP system with general ledger codes. Expense reports must be entered and sent to payroll per schedule. Responsible for the maintenance of merchandise costing. Vendor invoices are compared to product master and maintenance performed when necessary. Write off items out of inventory that are defective or damaged and dispose of goods.  Verify all driver product returns, pickups, credits, etc., to ensure that the returned item matches the associated paperwork. Ensure that returned goods are placed on the appropriate pallets in the returns area to speed put away in the warehouse. In WMS operations, they will be scanning the items to the RLPN for inventory tracking.  Verify all goods that are to be reshipped are accounted for and placed in the appropriate reship area within the warehouse. Communicate to the necessary parties regarding the reships and ensure the proper paperwork gets to the transportation supervisor or router for the reships.  Communicates any truck maintenance issues to transportation or fleet maintenance that are discovered on the daily pre and post trip documents that are turned in.  Assist in the process of putting away returned product from previous day’s deliveries as needed.  Perform cleaning and maintenance duties of the driver check-in area.  Prepare the driver return area daily to allow for timely processing of drivers through the area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. Safely and properly unload a trailer of product, verify the load for accuracy and stage for put away.   Conduct proper put away of goods in the warehouse ensuring safety and proper rack utilization.    Meet individual productivity and accuracy standards as identified through Labor Management (LM) metrics.   Required to safely operate material handling equipment (MHE) to include forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachment, and/or clamper truck or attachment.  Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) scan guns and tools for the purpose of maintaining proper inventory levels and proper location of goods in the warehouse.   Assist in the process of putting away returned product from previous day’s deliveries.   Performs cleaning and maintenance duties as directed. Assist in physical inventories and cycle counting as directed. Observes safe product handling techniques. Cooperates with management and peers alike.  Is punctual and consistently available for work.  As needed, pre-pick and stage odd ball cases and bottles for use in the night shipping.   Pull and stage large customer orders in demand, such as Costco, Total Wine, etc.  Interact with associates during the hand-off from shift to shift.  Frequently will have interaction with delivery personnel, and the early morning receiving crew. Pick and pack orders using label picking, ring scanners, voice directed picking or paper picket tickets.    Performs various other duties, as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned) Properly conducts a pre and post trip inspection, notating any vehicle defects. Abides by the DOT hours of service rules and regulations for their license type. Safely operates a delivery vehicle ranging in size from a 16’ straight truck to a class A tractor-trailer from company warehouse to customer premises and back. The potential for dedicated overnight routes exist. Accurately delivers invoiced products by bottle, case, pallet or hand-stack from the delivery truck and placing said merchandise into customer account. As required, may place product in designated areas such as coolers or shelves as customer location.  Responsible for transfer of product from location to location when needed. Verifies receipt of correct order with the customer by checking product type and size against the provided invoice, obtains customer signature and payment if necessary, for goods received.   Listens to and resolves service complaints. Collects money from customers and records transactions on customer receipt.   Collects COD payments from COD customers as specified on the invoice. Adjusts invoices noting errors or shortages of product and returns extra product to the warehouse. Ensures physical security of truck at all times. Handles approximately 350 cases in a given day. May handle up to 700 cases during times of increased account activity. Delivers to approximately 19 accounts daily. May deliver to up to 30 accounts during times of increased account activity. Covers approximately 160 miles daily, miles occasionally increase anywhere from 200 to 300 miles during times of increased account activity or out of town routes. Supervises one or more helpers when pre-determine case or stop levels require.  Provide feedback to transportation management in terms of route changes or route concerns.
