AVL Test Systems, Inc. is looking for an intern seeking a fast paced productive environment with a focus on customer support within the automotive industry. Qualified candidates will gain hands on experience aiding in updating systems, such as SAP & SalesForce, helping streamline multiple department processes, and hands on customer support; strong communication skills are required. The TSI Intern - Coordinator position will provide daily administravie control and support for the customer service operations team with a high focus on customer satisfaction. The Intern position is a learning position and will support the team as required. This position is very much a hands on position that requires adaptability and flexibility in each work day; qualified candidates should possess strong time management skills and the ability to multitask. This internship would begin immediately and would be a full-time position. AVL can accommodate a more flexible schedule from now until the end of the current semester. This position will be located in Plymouth, MI. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. EOE Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Responsibilities Maintains the integrity of the Customer Service department regarding customer service/support (internal and external) by the use of company and/or departmental processes. Responsible for accurate record keeping and archiving of customer information. Performs all tasks needed to sustain the productivity and efficiency of the Customer Service department. Performs all tasks and responsibilities associated with supporting customer needs including but not limited to: customer order entry, work order creation, quoting, invoicing, part procurement and shipping. Maintains departmental databases for proper management and organization of customer activities Contributes in the achievement of KPI goals set forth by the company/department. Additional administrative responsibilities as required. Qualifications Working towards Bachelors degree in purchasing, business or related Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills Thorough knowledge of PC operation, structure, MS Windows, and computer networking required SAP and/or SalesFroce experience a plus Desire to learn. Willingness to start ‘at the bottom’ in services to learn processes and functions of the department they are assigned too, these skills are used at the end of the term for more efficient project implementation.
