This position includes on-call pay and a generous travel stipend in addition to benefits package.*** National Child and Family Services (NCFS) is seeking a Wraparound Facilitator for our Baton Rouge, LA facility to work in Region 2. The Wraparound Facilitator serves as the primary contact person for the family and collaboratively supports the development of the individualized Plan of Care for the child. General Responsibilities: The following is intended to describe the major elements and requirements of the position and should not be taken as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of individuals assigned to this job. Completes required training and credentialing process for wrap facilitation according to the curriculum approved by OBH within time frames required by OBH Obtains wraparound practitioner certificate within 2 years of hire date Maintains the wrap facilitation certification for length of employment Must pass a Louisiana criminal history background check and motor vehicle screens Demonstration of high fidelity to NWI standards throughout ongoing participation in wraparound fidelity monitoring using the WFAS Must have access to reliable transportation. If driving an automobile while on company business, must possess a valid driver's license in the state of residence and auto insurance Ability to create effective relationships with the different cultural beliefs and lifestyles Possesses an understanding of child and adolescent development Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to develop and deliver a child/youth/family specific case presentation Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented Ability to analyze complex information and to define and solve problems QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Human Services field, such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work Note: Any applicant with a degree in Social Work must be in possession of active license/registration as required by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience working in relevant family, children/youth or community service capacity Must pass a Louisiana criminal history background check and motor vehicle screens Must have access to a reliable, insured motor vehicle, with current, valid Driver's License Must possess and understanding of child and adolescent development Applicant must possess the appropriate credentialing/license/registration from professional boards that are necessary to perform assigned duties. All applicants with a degree in Social Work are expected to comply with Louisiana Social Work Practice Act, Title 37: §2709 - No individual shall practice social work in the state unless the individual holds a current, valid license, certificate, or registration issued by the board in accordance with this Chapter.
