Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses. The Wholesale Conduct Risk Control organization is responsible for development of conduct risk strategy and the design, implementation, and execution of Wholesale-wide conduct risk controls, with a focus on consistency, transparency, and sustainability, to ensure compliance with regulatory and enterprise expectations, and management of risk within business tolerance. The Misconduct Assessment and Management Complaints team is responsible for the design, coordination, surveillance and research of Complaints Management activities within the core Conduct Risk Framework. In this role, the consultant will support the team assisting with the analysis and execution of the Wholesale Control Executive responsibilities in regards to Complaints Management. The deliverables derive from existing regulatory and enterprise requirements, as well as the Conduct Risk framework. Primary responsibilities for this role may include but are not limited to: Partnering with the relevant business group to identify, assess, manage and mitigate current and emerging risk exposures associated with their activities and operations. Monitors, measures, evaluates, and reports on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group and enterprise function. Provides guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of business-specific programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risk. Provides support in the interpretation of policy, guidelines, and governance programs as front line liaison to Independent Risk Management area for low to moderate risk and complexity enterprise risk programs. Supports business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes and controls that mitigate risks and address regulatory requirements. Develops and implements risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls. Monitors and reports on its risk concentration, current and emerging risk, and risk appetite. Aggregates, evaluates, reports results and escalates where necessary. Designs and executes control effectiveness assurance programs for Front Line-owned controls. Supports and implements initiatives with low to moderate risk. Internal interaction with team to support identification, management and mitigation of business-specific risk programs. Works independently; does not manage other team members The successful candidate will be a contributor on the Complaints team in the development and execution of Wholesale Conduct Complaints strategies. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in risk (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management demonstrated through work or military) or 1+ year in the foregoing or financial services industry and a BS/BA degree or higher in business or a related field Other Desired Qualifications Experience working with internal audit, investigations, complaints management, or similar conduct related activities. Experience working in Wells Fargo Wholesale Control Management, with an understanding of the Wholesale line of business structure.
