A career in our Specialised Tax Services practice, within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You'll also help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals.

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven track record of success with operating in a professional services firm or large enterprise as a consultant, auditor or business process specialist. Demonstrates thorough knowledge and or a proven record of success with identifying and obtaining new service opportunities and taking the opportunities through the sales cycle, including the following: - Defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, and billing and collection; - Identifying and addressing client needs, including developing and sustaining extensive client relationships; and, - Assisting with the leading of teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation. Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success working seamlessly in a virtual environment to complete projects with team members based in various locations, domestically and globally, including the following areas: - Identifying and addressing client needs by actively participating in client discussions and meetings; - Communicating a broad range of Firm services; - Managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues; - Functioning as a team leader by creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members; - Providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner; and, - Keeping leadership informed of progress and issues. Some background in tax analytics, reporting or business intelligence is expected. Additional training for the right candidate will be provided. As a tax technical professional, demonstrates ability to research business and industry trends to develop a point of view to leverage in assisting with proposals, considering opportunities across multiple lines of service. Experimentation with automation & digitization in a professional services environment including but not limited to: - innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions; - working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools. Exposure to pricing, client value and the negotiation process - including reviewing contracts and finding opportunities to introduce new pricing options.
