The Royster Group is seeking a Pulmonologist for full-time contract position available at Malcolm Grow Medical Clinic (Joint Base Andrews AFB and Anacostia-Bolling). This is a great opportunity to provide health care services to our active-duty, retired military, and their beneficiaries. DUTIES include but not limited to the following : Diagnoses and treats diseases. Prepare and review case histories and clinical records. Perform diagnostic procedures including x-ray examinations, clinical laboratory tests, and pulmonary function tests. Develop treatment plans and coordinate care with other medical-service providers. Prescribes treatment for internal diseases as drugs, physical therapy, and dietary regimens. Provides pulmonary services during normally scheduled hours of performance, to include on-call for ECC consults during duty hours when applicable. Perform a full range of pulmonary outpatient services. Offer instructions to adult nurse practitioner students, physician assistant interns, medical students, interns, and residents in the form of clinical rotations. Consult with appropriate specialists. Write initial admission orders. Prescribe and administer drugs. Examine, diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the respiratory system. Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems as they occur. The Royster Group is seeking a Neurologist for full-time contract position available at Malcolm Grow Medical Clinic (Joint Base Andrews and Anacostia-Bolling). This is a great opportunity to provide health care services to our active-duty, retired military, and their beneficiaries. DUTIES include but not limited to the following: Examine, diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the nervous system. Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems as they occur. Conduct diagnostic tests and procedures to determine the nature of an illness Determine diagnoses, based on test results and patient observation Discuss treatment options with patients and their families, advising them of the potential benefits and risks Develop treatment plans and coordinate care with other medical-service providers Create and maintain patient records Train staff and students Perform lumbar punctures. Perform and interpret nerve conduction studies and electromyography. Perform evoked potentials and electroencephalograms. Provide chemodenervation (such as Botox) for common neurological conditions. Ensure a safe work environment and employee safe work habits. Perform chemodenervation, such as onabotulinum toxin A injection. Complete nerve condition studies/electromyography and interpret electroencephalograms Obtain continuing education to stay up-to-date on neurology research and innovations Ensure a safe work environment and employee safe work habits. On-call for ECC consults during duty hours. Maintain currency in new neurology medication, especially Multiple Sclerosis treatments. Maintain medication administration training as required.
