Sheet Metal Mechanic 2 performs high precision fabrication duties to include: cutting, forming, surface finishing and assembly of raw sheet metals. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services. This position will report to the Enterprise Revenue COE Model Program Management Leader. The Revenue COE is a vital function within Enterprise Finance. The COE is a key participant and data supplier to firm wide functions including quarterly earnings forecasts, monthly balance sheet scenario forecasts, stress tests and resolution planning, and other financial management processes. The COE supports all aspects of delivering projections, subject matter expertise and effective tools to support all of WFC's forecasting needs. The team supports the 9-quarter forecast, CCAR & MCST, Resolution planning and ALM interest rate sensitivity projections. The COE team owns approximately 115 forecasting models. Additionally, the team is a key data provider to approximately 40 downstream Corporate Treasury owned models. The Finance Lead Consultant role primary responsibilities will be: Ensuring the model documentation for the Revenue COE and Expense COE models is in accordance with regulatory publications SR11-7 and SR15-18, as well as the WFC Model Risk Management Policy Partner with model owners within the Revenue COE and Expense COEs to coordinate model documentation updates and update documentation for any triggering events that occur Manage ongoing changes to model documentation, which includes the following: Future changes to the forecasting process (e.g. legal entity forecasting, negative rates, LIBOR Transition) New models continue to be identified and will need to be documented Model finding remediation will be ongoing (many of which are documentation related) Update model documentation annually for upstream model findings and limitations Annual updates to reflect current performance monitoring Partner with model developers and model risk management teams within the Credit/PPNR COE and the Asset Liability Management (ALM) Teams to identify existing documentation included in the Qualitative Models that needs to be migrated into the upstream Credit/PPNR quantitative model documentation Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting Desired Qualifications A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting Ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization Project management experience Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, forecasting and analyzing interest income and balance sheet behavior Strong risk management and compliance skills Ability to create and deliver dynamic presentations Experience driving and leading organizational change in a dynamic environment Other Desired Qualifications Experience with model risk management requirements consistent with regulatory guidance and WFC policies Ability to evaluate future potential models in accordance with the model identification template and risk rank template Work in a matrixed organization partnering across multiple lines of business and various governance teams Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in an ever-changing environment Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to thoroughly understand, flowchart, document and develop controls for forecasting models Knowledge and understanding of asset, liability or liquidity management concepts Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) skills Job Expectations Ability to travel up to 10% of the time Disclaimer All offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
