Minimum Years of Experience : 2 year(s) Certification(s) Required : Before starting with PwC full-time, must be eligible to sit for the primary credential exam appropriate for relevant practice area, such as having 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam in certain states. A credential must be obtained prior to being promoted to Manager. Preferred Qualifications : Degree Preferred : Master Degree Preferred Fields of Study : Taxation, Accounting Preferred Knowledge/Skills : Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in tax consulting or compliance functions associated with the Financial Services Industry, which could include a background with partnership and/or corporate taxation. Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in alternative investment funds, mortgage REITs, CDO/CLO transactions, REMIC's, and other securitizations, leasing or derivatives. Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in treasury, banking, finance company, and hedge fund tax operations also preferred. Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes. Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success, as both an individual contributor and team member by:demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; paying attention to detail with task completion; and, communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor. Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team member by: understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; and, proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback. Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success utilizing effective written and verbal business communication skills when interacting with external clients and firm staff and/or management within a professional services business environment.
