Engineering Tech II Contract Full-Time Ridgecrest, CA, US Today Requisition ID: 1389 The Engineering Tech II will be under direct supervision from any senior-level team member. This position assists with established or repetitive engineering/research technical work. The candidate should be able to operate simple test instruments and control, make simple adjustments, and record data; set-up laboratory apparatus, perform simple experiments and record data; assist in and/or perform routine work in the fabrication, installation, maintenance and repair of standard scientific or mechanical components, equipment, apparatus, and related devices, including related computations, perform a variety of standardized tests in order to determine physical properties of samples; using standard tables, perform specified arithmetic computations; plot data or results and draw simple curves; perform routine mechanical layout or abstract and compile specific data from records or other sources, such as drawings and specifications; operate transit, levels and other equipment used in surveying; assist others in performance of assigned tasks; and perform other related duties, as assigned. Candidate must be able to communicate verbally and in writing as well as work within a team structure or independently, depending upon the tasking. Education: High school or GED equivalent. Title: Welder III – NY (10 - 12 openings) Duration: 3 months Contract job with possible extension or hire Location: Latham, NY Pay Rate: $19.00 - $29.00/hr on w2 with no benefits Shift: 2nd shift or 3rd shift Description: 5+ years welding experience. Candidates must be able to tig weld on aluminum and stainless steel. 2nd shift and 3rd shift positions Welding skills required for fabricator level position are The ability to read and understand drawings and MI instructions The ability to perform helium leak tight MIG and TIG fillet, overlap, open corner, v-groove and butt welds on 3mm – 12mm aluminum in all positions The ability to perform helium leak tight MIG and TIG fillet, overlap, open corner, v-groove and butt welds on 3mm – 6mm A strong mechanical ability to handle complex assemblies

This position requires working at heights one story and above. Must have most tools required for these trades. Certain power tools will be provided. Need a dependable truck and ladders. Good driving record is a must if company vehicle is provided. Company vehicle will be provided after 90 days of employment if qualifications are met. 

We are looking for a skilled handyman with some experience in painting, tiling, electrical, carpentry, plumbing and furniture  assembly.  We have full time and part-time positions.The candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check, have a good driving record and own a smartphone. We also offer a training in any work mentioned above to the right candidate. Serious inquires only. Work related experience is a plus. 

Perform troubleshooting and repair of an existing British Standards electrical system at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. Work shall include but not be limited to examination, repair and installation of terminations, connectivity, continuity, checking integrity of cables and conductors, panel schedule development, Control System troubleshooting and reporting findings to the Electrical Design Engineer of Record.
