Company Description The ERP Cloud Integration Lead is a member of Biogen's Information Technology (IT)Technical Shared Services, ERP organization. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide leadership to ensure the reliability and availability of applications and platforms across Biogen. The IT'sTechnical Shared ServicesERP organization is the face of application support to Biogen system users worldwide. Job Description The goal of this team is to enable people that are using applications in the ERP ecosystem get answers to their questions, resolve problems, educate and support them to more effectively use the applications. The organization is charged with supporting enterprise applications used by more than 7,000 employees throughout a truly global company. In addition to our headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts, this role will support users in the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, and throughout Europe. We also have a direct commercial presence in 30 countries and distribution agreements in more than 60 additional countries. Reporting to the ERP Operations Manager, the ERP Cloud Integration Lead will be a key role charged with establishing and maintaining domain expertise and ensuring high availability and reliability of platforms and technologies implemented to support the Cloud-based ERP Eco-system. This role requires an experienced IT professional who possesses and effective blend of functional, technical, problem solving, and communication skills. These skills will be needed in establishing to support and resolve system incidents and outages, and in providing the highest level of customer care. Key responsibilities include: * Lead, plan and execute the platform lifecycle management in order to maintain the optimal health and performance of the applications and/or platforms in the portfolio. * Be responsible for incident management and resolution within Biogen global IT application environment. * Manage escalation activity between core customers and including IT Infrastructure, IT service center, and other 3rd party technical teams. * As a member of a global IT team, participate in problem resolution related to platform issues across business units and regions; includes working with business colleagues, business-facing IT colleagues and/or infrastructure teams. * Provide leadership while onboarding new applications and technologies, by partnering with business and IT colleagues, during various project phases; perform onboarding and knowledge transfer activities to ensure proper acceptance of the application. * Create and maintain IT knowledgebase articles and related information for supporting the ERP Eco-system. * Collaboration with one or more SaaS and/or managed service provider (MSP) partners responsible for IT core support services and operations. * Oversee managed service providers (MSP) responsibilities, including but not limited to availability monitoring, service quality metrics and production service transitions. * Facilitate application portfolio-level requests for IT Quality, Security, Continuity, Testing and Support assessments and evaluations. * Manage application portfolio lifecycle information, including but not limited to managing app asset data related to application availability / knowledge assets / lifecycle status / performance / run total cost of ownership (TCO). * Carry out responsibilities in customer care, assurance and service quality; ensure all support service level agreements (SLAs) in core service metrics are met or exceeded. * Ensure processes are continuously followed and refined to maintain a stable production environment. * Develop innovative monitoring and capacity planning to proactively identify potential problems The ideal candidate should possess an accomplished track record combined with the tenacity, self-confidence and proven ability to continually grow and contribute to a global business. Qualifications * Previous experience supporting OCI Cloud Migrations is required. * Apps DBA with hands-on experience installing, configuring, upgrading and supporting R12 EBS Applications. * Strong understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Architecture and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is required. * Must be proficient with Oracle database, mid-tier, and concurrent manager setup and maintenance, Oracle Workflow, Oracle SSO (Single Sign On), Oracle OID (Oracle Identity Directory, which is Oracle's LDAP) and WebLogic 11g. * Strong Unix skills is required. * Strong understanding of information systems, business processes and measures of success. * Proven commitment to customer care, system availability, reliability and issue resolution. This can include off-hours and on-call support to resolve system incidents. *Analytical/Creative Problem Solving. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently troubleshoot as well as develop alternative solutions to problems. * Strong written and verbal communication skills is required. * Flexibility to work independently with minimal supervision or collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams is required. * Experience in a biotechnology/pharmaceutical company preferred and is a definite plus. * Prior experience in a GxP/Validated and SOX environment preferred. Additional Information Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
