In support of this mission, Marketing is responsible for developing integrated marketing strategies across Wells Fargo's business lines and geographies; leading brand strategy; leveraging deep insights and analytics about consumers and businesses; executing customer messaging across all channels and touchpoints; and building out capabilities that move toward real-time, always-on, personalized and compelling messaging and digital experiences. Reporting to the Head of Credit Card Portfolio Marketing, this leader will play a central role in deepening our relationships with existing customers through credit card balance build & lending strategies that enable Wells Fargo to capture share of customers' revolving balance needs. This leader will oversee credit card balance build marketing strategy including Balance Transfers and Credit Line Management, through to execution and is accountable for ensuring effective and efficient messaging, offers, and targeting strategies to maximize total NPV. Additionally, partner with the business on implementing new customer treatments that meet their evolving lending needs. This leader will manage a team of three marketing professionals. The leader is expected to work in a highly matrixed organization and have the ability to influence at various levels of the organization. Maintaining the highest levels of operational control is critical. The leader in this role will have an exciting opportunity to champion an area of growth at Wells Fargo and will have the opportunity to gain significant leadership experiences and senior leadership exposure. Leadership responsibilities are as follows: Marketing program strategy: manage balance build marketing strategy including targeting, creative approach, offer strategy, channel strategy, campaign timing, and cost efficiency in conjunction with key partners and stakeholders. In partnership with analytical partners, drive development and implementation of models and advanced targeting strategies Test and learn: maintain a robust testing pipeline to ensure continual improvement and optimization Marketing budget: manage team's marketing budget Forecasting and planning: contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting routines, including reconciliation against forecasts vs actuals; maintain a roster of incremental opportunities Creative development: work with internal and external agency partners to develop effective direct mail, email, and other channel messages; continually optimize and fight mail fatigues Campaign execution: lead a cross-functional team to execute against marketing strategy, with a close eye to process accuracy and efficiency Team leadership: lead a team of three marketers Market research: leverage competitive insights to ensure program effectiveness Collaborate and work closely with peers and partners, including Product Management partners, Marketing Centers of Excellence, peers in Portfolio Marketing, Insights and Analytics, Finance, and Risk Manage operational risk: ensure marketing processes and controls are robust and effective; identify opportunities to improve quality, output and efficiency As a Team Member Manager , you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Required Qualifications 5+ years of financial services experience 7+ years of marketing experience 4+ years of management experience Other Desired Qualifications Deep understanding of consumer financial services NOTE: experience at a top-tier credit card issuer is preferred 7+ years' experience in business/marketing strategy and analytics In-depth knowledge of card business with deep understanding of card economics and risk characteristics and their impact on marketing strategy and effectiveness. Experience in balance transfer economics and pricing strategies Ability to direct and leverage high order of analytics, challenge and debate to drive data-driven marketing strategies, measurement and performance evaluation. Ability to establish routines that inform and align decision-making across key partners A highly effective, consultative leader with an executive presence and personal credibility as a result of demonstrated integrity, business management experience, financial management acumen, and effective decision-making/critical thinking/problem solving skills Goal minded and able to motivate a team and mobilize matrix resources to accomplish objectives through demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Job Expectations Ability to travel up to 5% of the time Salary Information The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
