This position is reporting into the Human Resources Control Executive (CE) group, Data & Analytics Team. The team provides shared services to the organization, enabling HR to proactively identify issues, effectively manage risks, and deliver on internal and external commitments This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Risk & Control Officer to join the HR Control Executive team and play a significant role in enhancing its risk reporting capability. This individual will lead the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of risk reports. Additionally, he/she will provide thought leadership and apply areas of expertise to multiple risk programs to enhance risk reporting that is effective and efficient in discovering, measuring and trending the inherent risks across the line of business. This is a fast paced, dynamic and quickly changing work environment where priorities or focus may need to shift frequently. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Partnering with the businesses by providing operational risk expertise. May consult on projects and initiatives with high risk to identify and mitigate operational risks in business activities Development and implementation of the deliverables for Risk Reporting and Analytics Programs Support Control Executive Risk Management team with risk programs work and related risk tools and management reporting Identify and assess operational risk issues and represent them in risk reporting Manage, coordinate or participate in the production of operational risk reports for senior management Present risk material and supporting information to high level risk committees as needed Build strong relationships and partner with business partners throughout the CE risk group as well as with partners that provide us the risk information Participate in strategic team and enterprise initiatives for risk metrics and risk reporting Ensure appropriate prioritization, status reporting, escalation and closure of outstanding Risk Reporting issues Provide risk reporting support, expertise and consulting to identify, assess and manage risk in support of CE team for projects and initiatives Synthesize data/reports for business, customers, and/or products/services/portfolios to 'form a story' Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 7+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 5+ years must include direct experience in risk management Desired Qualifications Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Other Desired Qualifications 7+ years of experience as subject matter expert for multiple risk programs which may include; model, privacy, legal entity, compliance, operational, reputation, etc. Experience evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of procedures, processes, and internal controls Experience developing, implementing and monitoring a risk information from various sources and collate/aggregate into a coherent presentation of risks.
