The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk.The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company. Within Wells Fargo Compliance, the Enterprise Testing group is responsible for establishing and maintaining a consolidated Enterprise Testing program at the corporate level. Enterprise Testing is responsible for developing a common methodology and standards, providing governance and oversight, executing testing; and conducting horizontal reviews. Testing and validation teams are responsible for implementing the Enterprise Testing methodology and standards, and executing group- specific testing. Within Enterprise Testing for Wholesale, the Corporate & Investment Banking/Investment Portfolio (CIB/IP) team is seeking a testing consultant to support regulatory compliance testing and validation activities. Within a team environment and reporting to a Testing Manager, she/he will be responsible for providing independent assurance on the design and operating effectiveness of business controls in accordance with Enterprise standards including development and maintenance of strong relationships across Enterprise Risk, lines of business, and Wells Fargo Internal Audit, as well as regulators; specifically, Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a risk-based compliance program to assure compliance with federal, state, agency, legal and regulatory requirements or may provide oversight to a compliance function. Works with assigned business units and provides compliance risk expertise and consulting for projects and initiatives with moderate to high risk to identify, assess and mitigate regulatory risk in all business activities. Develops testing strategies and methodologies; evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, products and internal controls and identifies issues resulting from internal and/or external compliance examinations. Consults with business to develop corrective action plans and effectively manage change to ensure regulatory compliance. Identifies training opportunities; may design/coordinate the development of training materials and delivers training. Reports findings and drafts recommendations to compliance risk and business line management. Coordinates production of periodic compliance performance reports for senior management, including trend analysis and recommended strategies. Coordinates site, agency or other examinations conducted by external parties. May manage project teams and provide guidance to less experienced specialists/consultants. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 5+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in risk management Other Desired Qualifications Experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk and Testing Critical Thinking and Analytical skills T&V or Audit background, capital markets experience, regulatory experience Disclaimer All offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
