It all begins with you. Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services. Enterprise Functions Finance provides financial leadership for Well Fargo's Enterprise Functions including Corporate Risk, Enterprise Finance, Legal, Audit, Human Resources, and Public Affairs. The Finance Team is responsible for providing proactive leadership and consultative support to enhance business intelligence and drive improvements in processes and in alignment with overall function and company objectives. Enterprise Functions collectively include approximately $10 billion in expenses and 25,000 FTEs. Outstanding leadership skills and the proven ability to foster a culture of strong consultation, sound controls, and continuous improvement will be determining factors in selection. Our Role: Provide strategic counsel, subject matter expertise, innovative solutions, and maintain effective financial discipline for Wells Fargo Enterprise Functions in support of strategic goals and initiatives. This highly visible role will work with senior executive leads and partner with business Chief Operating Officers and strategic partners across multiple functions. They will help drive greater financial performance by providing strong strategic advice, simplified processes, tools, and transformative ideas. The future Finance Senior Consultant will: Provide strategic financial advice and counsel to key leaders in Enterprise Staff Functions Leverage deep business knowledge to provide strong consultation and strategic thinking Provide financial insight and analysis for decision making Provide insight into drivers, trends, and forecasts while leveraging different data sets to help tell the story. Recognize issues, discuss, respond, give feedback and provide credible challenge to senior management on Expenses, Staffing, Contracts, Projects, and Strategies Strategic Priorities Partner with the enterprise functions to optimize financial performance and balance risk appropriately Ensure appropriate focus and progress on expense management within the enterprise functions Develop meaningful financial analysis and insights (leveraging best practices) for proposed investments (ex: Projects, business cases, authorization of expenditures, personnel) Collaborate with business in developing focused relevant materials for executive audiences Actively engage leaders in culture of cost discipline and targeted operational efficiencies to optimize financial performance to work towards efficient state best-in-class efficiency Develop performance measures and cost drivers for assessing financial efficiency and ensuring meaningful and transparent cost allocations Collaborate with our Finance Centers of Excellence partners on Forecast, Month-end close, Cost Allocations, and further implementing the overall finance operating model Ensure active compliance with risk management and enterprise policies including active partnership with Group Controllers and Risk colleagues Required Qualifications 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics and reporting; or a BS/BA degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting Desired Qualifications A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications Ability to manage in a matrixed organization environment Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Other Desired Qualifications Proven leadership in developing and delivering on innovative and efficient solutions Demonstrated experience in driving organizational change and influencing colleagues through changing requirements and vision Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, readily developing partnership across the enterprise to achieve desired outcomes Job Expectations Ability to travel up to 5% of the time Salary Information The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
