It all begins with you. Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services. CONTROLLER'S GROUP The Controller's Division is responsible for the Company's financial statements, establishing corporate accounting policies, preparing SEC and regulatory reports and ensuring the adequacy of internal controls. The Division also manages and supports the Company's General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Regulatory Reporting & Data Transformation Leader is a leadership position that will be responsible for reporting transformation efforts within the Regulatory and Basel Reporting team responsible for accurate and timely filing of the FFIEC 101, Pillar 3, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14Q/M, FR Y-15, FFIEC 009, FR 2900 and other Regulatory and Basel reports. This role is instrumental in developing and transforming our current reporting processes to leverage automated data processes and controls. Responsibilities may include, but not be limited to the following: Drive transition of reports to the AgileReporter reporting system, utilizing the current data submission processes. Drive preparations for connecting the future centralized data warehouse (multiyear project) to the AgileReporter reporting system. Help identify areas for consolidations of aggregated Vena submissions. Partner with SEC Reporting to identify, document and minimize GAAP/RAP differences. Help with miscellaneous projects assigned by manager that require vast subject matter expertise. Partner closely with the Financial Reporting, Data Quality, and Remediation Change Management team within the Financial Reporting group *Open to any location in the Wells Fargo footprint As a Team Member Manager , you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics, financial reporting, accounting reporting or risk reporting 5+ years of management experience Desired Qualifications A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting Demonstrated success managing in a matrixed environment Knowledge and understanding of regulatory reporting: Federal Reserve, OCC, and SEC Data collection and reporting experience Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important Strong collaboration and partnering skills Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Advanced Microsoft Office skills Other Desired Qualifications Understanding of end to end reporting process, from data collection through report submission MBA/CPA Deep financial institution or banking/capital markets industry knowledge/experience SEC, Regulatory Reporting, and/or Accounting Policy Experience Ability to research and document SEC/GAAP/REG issues in clear and concise memorandums Ability to lead, organize, and manage projects beginning to end that require coordinated efforts across multiple functions (e.g., legal, operations, front-office, finance, corporate, etc.) Product knowledge in some or all of the following areas (loans, debt, derivatives, securities, repurchase agreements, securities lending, commodities, cash equities trading, credit trading, securities, etc.) General ledger experience to facilitate review Broad financial product knowledge throughout the banking and capital markets industry inclusive of investment banking, asset-backed financing, non-marketable equity investments, etc. Job Expectations Ability to travel up to 15% of the time Disclaimer All offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
