Enterprise Finance plans, tracks, analyzes and reports financial results, manages the company's balance sheet, including funding, capital and investments; oversees internal real estate needs; drives acquisitions; is responsible for financial controls; and leads corporate strategy. Enterprise Finance identifies areas of financial risk and mitigates efforts appropriately. It works with capital markets to provide lowest possible costs of incremental funding, subject to capital and financial risk management constraints. It improves financial performance by analyzing business unit performance and recommending areas of improvement. This Advanced Financial Analytics Senior Consultant will join the Enterprise Finance & Information Technology (EF&IT) Model and End-User Computing Tool (EUCT) Governance Team, supporting the Corporate Model Risk Management and End-User Computing Tools policies. This position will play a key role in the implementation of key controls to ensure compliance with the WF Model Risk Management policy, EUCT policy, and supporting standards and guidelines. The successful candidate will work actively with Model and EUCT owners, major stakeholders in the LOB, Corporate Model Risk (CMoR), and the EUCT Risk Program. Our group is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a risk-based program designed to identify, assess and mitigate model and EUCT risk that arises from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, systems or external events, while maintaining a balance between risk mitigation and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities: Develop strong understanding of the WF Model Risk Management policy, supporting standards, and related policies and standards (CCAR, RRP, 9Q Forecasting, COSO Governance Policy), and the EUCT Policy and supporting guidelines. Enforce adherence to WF Model Risk Management and EUCT Policies, supporting standards and guidelines, and other related policies and standards as appropriate. Leverage internal and external reporting to track policy compliance across the Enterprise Finance Model and EUCT inventories, and coordinate with key portfolio leads, key contacts, and Model/EUCT Owners to ensure compliance. Perform a Quality Assurance role, reviewing and effectively challenging decisions and documentation from supported EF&IT groups (e.g. Model/Non-Model Decisions, EUCT scoping, Risk Ranking outcomes, Development Documents). Support the execution of key model control activities, including, but not limited to Quarterly Attestation and Certification, Annual Deep Dive, Annual Model Governance review, and compilation of the Quarterly Model Risk Committee materials. Assist with automation of manual processes and identify opportunities for improvement; design/coordinate the development of training materials.
