Merakey is seeking a Team Associate Lead to join our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) division in Richmond, Va. POSITION OVERVIEW Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Implements program policy and procedure according to program regulations and guidelines. Provides counseling to individual clients. Implements and monitors treatment of clients. Monitors individual and group social skills. Leads or co-leads recreational groups. Assists, teaches and monitors client's daily living activities, including but not limited to personal hygiene, bathing, shaving, grooming, dressing, laundry, meal preparation, medication administration, and room care. Accompanies and monitors clients on community trips, engages clients in social and leisure activities, and assures the health and safety of the clients. Maintains accurate and adequate records, to include the assurance that progress notes were completed on each shift for individuals, monthlies written by the 5th business day, incident reports are completed and faxed to office within 24 hours, fire drill sand other similar reporting is done each month in accordance with guidelines, supervisions are completed monthly for each staff , staff training documented and scheduled. Coordinates, monitors and ensures medical appts are held. Medication: ensures accuracy of medications delivered to the home, reviews the MAR and medications to ensure that there are no medication errors. Monitors compliance with program rules. Reports to administrator on call any immediate or unusual situations(s) and mediate problematic issues between clients in a timely manner. Provides on-call coverage as scheduled Attends and participates in all trainings and meetings including those related to the individuals such as PCP and ISP meetings. Transports to activities as needed. Driving is essential. Evaluates nutritional intake and documents accordingly Provides routine household cleaning and maintenance to include reporting of work order needs Prepares and serves meals according to posted menus and nutritional standards Provides training to staff as requested Provides supervision and instruction to staff in absences of coordinator/manager Completes regular audits of client record documentation to include that in AVATAR May perform other related duties when required or assigned.
