Initially, you will assist the Lead Technician in our company, and in doing so learn all the critical job duties and responsibilities necessary to allow you to become a “Full” Technician.  As a “Full” Technician, you will be responsible for your own Restoration Projects, drive your own company vehicle, and be the face of our organization with the clients and projects you are assigned.  When you are fully trained, you will conduct your own water mitigation, fire restoration, and mold remediation services in the field at our customers' homes or places of business operations.   Responsibilities and Duties Working with our Lead Technician, you will: Call, Schedule, and Meet with home or business owners to assess the damage they need fixed. Properly remove any approved materials (Baseboard, Drywall, Cabinets, Counter top, Laminate Floor, and several other building materials), and place the proper amount of equipment for the space in need of restoration Gain knowledge of fast drying practices and techniques to get the materials dry as fast as possible. You will also assist our Lead Technician in: Monitoring jobs daily, contacting and following up with homeowners for daily appointments. Taking moisture readings at each monitor, taking and uploading photos, readings, and notes into our DASH job database for our in-house representatives to use. Helping homeowners through the claims process. Rotate On-Call week/weekends where you are to answer, respond, and perform all above duties during and after hours for emergency issues that come up. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Qualifications and Skills High School graduate, or Equivalent education Valid Driver’s License, with good driving record 1-3 years’ prior work experience, preferably working in a business involving construction services Strong Communication, both written and verbal. Positive "Can-Do" attitude, and strong work ethic. Ability to use and handle computer/tablet/smart phone Experience and familiarity with light construction and tools (framing and flooring carpentry, simple plumbing) Ability to work both within a team, and independently. Bi-Lingual (Spanish) candidates are ideal, but not required.
