Systems Technology Forum, Ltd. Job Description This is a full time waterfront position that is located in Bath, ME. Successful candidate will be tasked to be the liaison between on-site waterfront management to accomplish the ATT specific needs aboard the US Navy ships in public and private shipyards, prime contractor personnel, sub-contractor personnel and government SUPSHIP personnel, pre/during and Post availability. Candidate will oversee, monitor, report on, adjudicate/deconflict GFE installation/removal/replacement(as required), CASREP/Problem Report/CAR correction (as required), Configuration Management (hardware/software). Manage, coordinate and direct any technical support as required. Job Requirements Candidate will provide expert witness for Aegis Weapons System network and security tests or certifications during post-delivery availability periods up through OWLD (IPDA/PDA, Post Sail, CSSQT DT/OT, Pre-PSA WOO, PSA, FCT, Post-PSA WOO, PMAVs and CMAVs). Support C4I trial card review/adjudication as required. Coordinate NTA review of proposed design changes. Candidate must have an active clearance. Successful candidate will report to NIWC LANT ATT (Aegis Test Team) Bath On Site Representative (OSR) leader for receipt of tasking and report of task completion. Perform surveillance of shipyard construction progress on a daily basis and provide daily status to NIWC LANT ATT Bath OSR Leader of any issues identified. Provide written weekly report of activities to NIWC LANT ATT OSR leader or DDG 51 Project management in his/her absence. Conduct ship checks of shipyard reported trial card completions. Ensured system light off, integration, and interfaces are completed to support further Networks (CANES) Testing. Research and provide any documentation that may be required for the Test Problem Report (TPR). Review Engineering Change Proposals, (ECP's) and write Configuration Change Requests, (CCR's) as part of local configuration management program. Perform review of delivered Networks (CANES) test procedures to determine technical accuracy. Perform underway testing during sea trials. Assist ships force with completion of SOVTs by providing technical expertise as needed. Support off site SOVT teams with BIW and ships force coordination. Familiarization with Aegis Weapons Systems (AWS) Provide technical support as well as trouble shooting, preventive maintenance and repair. Obtain courier card to allow for transportation of Secret materials from ATT Bath building to/from ship. Review and submit changes to system technical manuals, technical documentation, ECP's, drawings, schematics and GFI that is utilized in the installation of Networks (CANES) systems. Perform other duties as directed by NIWC LANT ATT Bath OSR leader or senior DDG 51 Project management in his or her absence as required in support of construction and testing on DDG SCN ships at Bath. Participate in Radio Communications Systems Issues, Ships Test Configuration Review Board, AEGIS Light-off and PMW760 Staff meetings as well as other meetings determined by NIWC LANT ATT Bath OSR leader. Candidate will be performing most duties in an active waterfront environment aboard US Navy ships and will require occasional lifting of equipment that could weigh up to 30lbs. When not performing on the waterfront, candidate will be in an office environment. Must be proactive, innovative, collaborative, and driven to achieve desired results. Designations/Certifications Electronics Technician "A" School preferred Education Requirements High School diploma, Experience Fifteen (15) years of hands-on experience with PEO C4I Program of Record Systems, to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in C4ISR Systems. Knowledge Must be able to plan, oversee, coordinate and resolve technical issues to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame, proactive, innovative, collaborative, and driven to achieve desired results. Ability to work under pressure and respond to changing demands. Must have an active Security Clearance.
