Merakey is seeking a Regional Director to join our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) division in Chambersburg , PA.
The Regional Director of IDD Services provides oversight of the Franklin/Fulton sites. This position reports to the Regional Executive Director. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Demonstrates strong and complete support for the organizational structure used to manage and support the Merakey mission.
Inter-Agency liaison working collaboratively with the Merakey matrix environment to include Senior Management, Service Line leaders, Human Resources, Fiscal, QCO and Support staff.
Promote and assure that the values and philosophies of the organization are carried out in policy and action.
Monitors program compliance in regulation to policy and standards, licensing compliance, and state/county/payer regulations.
Involved in operational, HR, Financial and program related decisions and direction.
Create an inclusive environment.
Manage change within the site and in accordance with the mission and strategic plan of Merakey.
Develop and encourage employee growth through the supervision of the local managers, as well as clinical and clerical staff.
Lead and work with the Human Resource department concerning the development and implementation of employee training/performance plans, hiring, discipline and discharge.
Act as a chief liaison to the community-at-large.
Develop community assessments of health needs, management action plans, operating and capital budgets, and strategic plans.
Ensure that program is running with appropriate staffing levels.
Ensure the broadest range of services to meet the identified community need in correspondence with assigned managed care/county mandates.
Implement approved procedural and operating practices for all services in keeping with legal, regulatory and contractual requirements.
Implement pertinent consumer satisfaction and outcomes, studies and reports.
Maintain ongoing rapport with the consumer, family members, and other interested parties.
Work with local managers and his/her supervisor to develop annual budgets for county programs and services.
Monitor and analyze program and support needs.
Ensures financial accountability and program viability.
Develops and administers budgets for the site.
Develops and implements additional services or business to meet the needs of service delivery.
