Warehouse Manager We have a job opening for a Full-Time position for a Warehouse Manager in our Brooklyn Park, MN location. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for all functions of the day-to-day operations of the warehouse facility What You Will Do: Responsible for all functions related to the supervision, management and accountability of the warehouse staff Responsible for all aspects of production operations, including but not limited to, shipping, transfers, fleet deliveries and receiving of all inventory and materials entering and departing the facility. Responsible for inventory control management and functions in the facility. Including Cycle Counting, inventory audits and related inspections. Investigate and respond accordingly to all errors, damages, shortages and inquiries by both internal and external customers and other departments as required. Responsible for the security and availability of the facility in accordance with the normal business hours. Operate, schedule and maintain in good repair all assigned company vehicle assets, vehicles and equipment. Work with and coordinate with respective sales and customer service personnel to maximize customer relations and service. Ensure the facility is maintained in a safe and clean condition to maximize efficiencies. Responsible for ensuring the facility is compliant with all local, state and federal guidelines as determined by regulatory agencies and governing bodies. Maintain appropriate staffing levels that maintain the facility in a full operational status (defined as a facility capable of meeting all requirements for/during normal business operations). This includes requesting for adding and subtracting labor as conditions merit. Assist in the hiring and termination process of employees Conducts and administers timely performance evaluations and coaching development reviews with/for assigned personnel. Identifies, investigates and reports on all work place related illness, injuries or accidents. Responsible for ensuring all facility operations are conducted in accordance with all applicable company and corporate policy, procedures and processes. Complete appropriate and/or assigned reports, metrics and communications daily utilizing various mediums to inform all direct reports, support staffs, customer service and management of facility operations and performance. Completes all other assigned duties, functions and tasks as assigned by appropriate management, supervisor or company official. What You Will Need to be Successful: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training preferred. Consideration for relative experience in Operations, Warehousing, Distribution and/or Supply Chain or, demonstration of progressive responsibilities/duties in distribution operations setting Prior supervisory experience preferred. Strong time management and communication skills. Experience with MS Office software including Excel, Word and Outlook The ability to demonstrate operation of forklift and other facility equipment as required. Pass all required and/or assigned background checks, safety requirements and employment standards. Experience working with a WMS management system, RF Scanning and/or Voice Pick equipment a plus.
