Submarine Maintenance System Analyst (PDMA)

Conduct onboard post-deployment maintainability assessment (PDMA).
Assess ability of Ship’s Force to support and maintain ICS systems / equipment in multiple workcenters and Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) Systems / Equipment based on recent POM and deployments.
Assess ability of Ship’s Force to perform organizational-level (O-level) preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshoot, perform fault isolation / identification, and repair / restoration of ICS maintenance problems and discrepancies.
Focus on adequacy, effectiveness, and utilization of the following maintainability factors and products:
Manning (NEC Management)
Training, Logistics (Technical Documentation, Support and Test Equipment (ST&E) - Repair parts / Maintenance Assistance Modules (MAMs)
CSMP Management and Maintainability
Develop a quick-look/ hot-wash out-brief provided to Ship’s Force CoC and highlighting specific maintenance and maintainability issues identified during the assessment and recommendations to increase Ship’s maintainability and self-sufficiency during their next POM / Deployment cycle. Provide PDMA training and support as required.
Develop formal PDMA Maintainability Report (MR).
PDMA MR identifying and documenting maintainability issues and provide actionable data to support data-driven recommendations / actions that address, resolve, and/or improve Ship’s Force ability to maintain systems prior to upcoming POM and deployment. MR identifies specific maintenance / maintainability issues associated with installed systems / equipment, manning, training, S&TE, and repair parts / MAM's that may adversely affect Ship’s ability to maintain systems and equipment.

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance level Secret.
Three (3) years full time experience in Submarine Forward Electronic Systems Acquisition and Lifecycle Support.
At least three (3) years of general experience in Navy Program Acquisition and Lifecycle Support to include the following:
Navy Systems Requirements, Standards, and Procedures
Navy Program Management
Navy Configuration Management & Data Management
Active U.S. Security Clearance level Secret.
B.S. in Engineering.
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use arms, hands, and fingers, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, see (close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjust focus).
Lifting requirements of up to 25lbs. at times.
