JOB SUMMARY   CBRE Heery seeks a Sr. Construction Project Manager for a large School Bond Program. The ideal candidate would have experience managing K-12 or higher education projects. The purpose of this position is to monitor large, complex construction projects for clients, with direct accountability for project delivery. Mobile HVAC/R Building Engineer
JOB SUMMARY The Mobile HVAC/R Building Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment for multiple facilities. Company van, gas card, tools, phone and uniforms are provided for this position. Utilizes advanced building maintenance skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of HVAC and refrigeration equipment in multiple retail buildings within a route. Monitors building system operations and performance and interacts directly with store management. Utilizes several trade skills beyond HVAC and refrigeration skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling. Must be flexible on schedule. Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a Refrigeration Technician, HVACR Service Technician, Refrigeration Maintenance Technician or Building Maintenance Worker. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the preventative maintenance and corrective repair of HVAC roof top units (RTUs) and refrigeration equipment such as walk in/reach in coolers and freezers. Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety. Come join us and help shape the future!   WSP is currently initiating a search for a  Transportation Design-Build Manager to support our Northwest District projects in Washington and Oregon.   We are looking for someone with experience working with major contractors utilizing various delivery methods, with a focus on design-build delivery for major transit or highway/bridge construction, be involved in projects with our Civil Engineering Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.   Duties and Responsibilities:   Deliver large transportation design-build projects in a profitable manner Lead and manage design teams, delivering commercially-based design solutions and managing the various deliverables Actively pursue strategic partnership opportunities and key future design-build projects Participate in the qualifications statement, proposal preparations, and interviews, including team organization, teaming agreements, timeline, scope, contracting, M/W/DBE goals, ATCs, design fee, multipliers, stipend, contingencies, reviews, and non-disclosure agreements Drive innovative solutions during bid and delivery phase Manage and control the design process from preliminary solutions through the production of as-built documentation across the lifecycle of the design process Ensure consistency of the design of the various portions of the projects with respect to adherence to the design criteria, multiple interfaces, required standards and the approval process Proactively drive Risk Management Ensure quality deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, following an approved Design QC/QA plan and process Undertake regular coordination/design reviews with the design and commercial teams to actively manage change Proactively drive safety and ensure that health, safety, environment and security requirements are properly considered and included in all stages of the process Assist and mentor the professional development of future design managers Requirements Talent is the essence of meeting our client’s objectives, goals and challenges.  If this sounds like a fit for you, we’d love to have that first discussion of you joining our team.   Minimum Qualifications:   Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited program Fifteen (15) years of experience, including ten (10) years managing design, and at least five (5) years of direct design-build delivery experience in a management capacity Washington and/or Oregon PE License registration, or ability to receive within 6 months Familiar with the DBIA Manual of Practice Ability to demonstrate a strong track record of winning and delivering design-build projects, exceeding expectations relative to budget, quality and schedule requirements Proven track record of delivering design-build projects of more than $100 million Strong technically-based leadership skills with proficient understanding of multi-engineering disciplines and technical design standards Broad knowledge of construction, design and management of major highway/bridge and/or transit projects Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment and form effective relationships in the industry     Preferred Qualifications:   Advanced degree(s) Experience with WSDOT, ODOT, Sound Transit DBIA certification About WSP   WSP USA (formerly WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff) is the U.S. operating company of one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms—WSP. Project Safety Manager - Renton, WA
Job Description The Project Safety Manager is responsible for leading, directing, managing and enforcing the accident prevention program and the laws that relate to the safety of our work on a single assigned construction project. Responsibilities: Including but not limited to: Support all safety efforts on the project and promote and solidify LANEs safety culture. Supervise, develop, and manage other safety professionals under his/her area of responsibility to ensure the effective administration of the project/company accident prevention efforts. Administer compliance with the safety program and lead accident prevention efforts to meet or exceed company and project safety goals, continuously striving to reduce incident rates. Manage regulatory exposures to ensure zero citations. Carry out job and assigned duties while maintaining Lanes values. Hold pre-construction planning meeting with subcontractors to review overall site safety program, job hazard analysis for their scope of work, and ensure plans are in place to mitigate risks. Ensure proper pre-planning for all activities and tasks for employees and subcontractors. Manage time and resource allocation appropriately to provide overall safety leadership to assigned project. Conduct work area assessments. Develop and facilitate applicable training programs. Perform and document jobsite inspections and audits with a focus on hazard recognition and unsafe behaviors. Coordinate and conduct safety meetings/training programs to ensure effective communication amongst employees. Participate in regulatory agency inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Work with operations to generate work plans for all phases of work. Communicate with corporate claims department to ensure proper documentation has been prepared and maintained on asset loss and workers compensation claims. Build working relationships with all project staff and subcontractor safety representatives. Enforce Safety Program and related policies and procedures and implement immediate corrective actions in accordance with LANE, Federal, State and Local regulations and owner requirements. Create safety reports for the project, analyze metrics and make recommendations for improvement over baseline. Investigate and analyze near misses, accidents, injuries, and incident trends and assist in the root cause analysis process to ensure corrective measures are put in place to eliminate the potential for reoccurrence.

Come join us and help shape the future!   WSP is currently initiating a search for a  Supervising Mechanical Engineer  to support our  Seattle, Washington  office.   Duties and Responsibilities:   Lead design efforts in the preparation of project calculations, drawings and specifications for mechanical and life safety systems including, transit stations and facilities, commercial buildings, road and rail tunnel fire life safety systems, emergency ventilation systems, HVAC systems, piping and hydraulic systems, drainage systems, pumping systems, and fire protection systems Research on topics related to aspects of the design of critical transit and infrastructure mechanical systems such as, emergency ventilation, fire protection, movement of heat and smoke, energy efficiency, systems controls etc. Assist in the development of costs estimates for transit and infrastructure mechanical systems Lead and organize design processes for implementation of advanced 3D/MEP CAD methods Provide field inspection and equipment testing expertise including equipment vibration, noise measurement, HVAC systems balance, piping system performance, commissioning support.  Provide general technical support during construction activities including field inspection, close coordination with construction management teams, client interface, problem resolution, submittal review. RESPONSIBILITIES   Performs non-technical general building maintenance, light custodial and minor repair duties. Works under close supervision.
