Summary:  American Conservation Experience, a nonprofit Conservation Corps, in partnership with  the National Park Service , is  seeking four (4) Members  to work directly with the historic preservation staff and assist with carpentry, roofing, and woodworking projects on historic properties throughout the park including the Pierce Ranch and the Lifeboat Station. The incumbent will work with the Seashore's Historic Preservation Team under the supervision of the Exhibit Specialist. The work consists of shop, and fieldwork on structures listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The position is geared toward hands-on treatment of historic structures and preservation practices as they apply to the carpentry and millwork trades, and will involve working with park preservation team on this year's projects.   Project Background and Objectives:   This year's major projects will include window restoration work at the historic Lifeboat Station. The other project will include replacement of wood shingle roofs and fencing at Historic Pierce Ranch. Primary tasks will include large scale painting and siding projects on historic structures. Trails work will largely be based on structures and historic masonry tasks on the High Peaks Trail. Job Summary / General Purpose: The Marketing Research Intern will work with the Marketing Research Manager who supports Marketing, Sales, and Human Resources with primary and secondary research and data analysis.  This position will collaborate with internal clients to understand their information and decision support needs, and design and execute the appropriate research to meet those needs. Major Duties / Responsibilities: Participate in informal training for Qualtrics online survey platform, TIBCO Spotfire business intelligence tool, and Salesforce reporting.  Self-motivate to practice with those tools and apply them in ways useful to the business throughout the internship, including converting existing Excel analyses to the business intelligence environment. Update an annual market sizing and Sprague market share analysis for refined petroleum products and natural gas, using internal sales data and energy consumption data from the Energy Information Administration. Generate, enhance and score sales lead lists on an as-needed basis, drawing and merging data from a variety of sources. Work with the Marketing Research Manager on refined products and natural gas customer satisfaction surveys, including sample list development, questionnaire design and testing, distribution of survey invitation and reminder emails, data analysis and reporting. Using Salesforce data and working with the Marketing Supervisor, create new reports to meet business needs in the TIBCO Spotfire environment.
