Job Description Cover surfaces such as windows, doors, or sidewalks to protect from splashing. Protect structures or surfaces near work areas to avoid damage.Clean job sites. Clean equipment or facilities. Mix mortar and plaster to desired consistency or direct workers who perform mixing. Mix substances or compounds needed for work activities. Apply coats of plaster or stucco to walls, ceilings, or partitions of buildings, using trowels, brushes, or spray guns. Apply decorative or textured finishes or coverings. Set up scaffolds. Assemble temporary equipment or structures. Cure freshly plastered surfaces. Apply decorative or textured finishes or coverings. Determine materials needed to complete the job and place orders accordingly. Estimate materials requirements for projects. Order construction or extraction materials or equipment. Install guide wires on exterior surfaces of buildings to indicate thickness of plaster or stucco and nail wire mesh, lath, or similar materials to the outside surface to hold stucco in place. Mark reference points on construction materials. Apply weatherproof, decorative coverings to exterior surfaces of buildings, such as by troweling or spraying on coats of stucco. Apply decorative or textured finishes or coverings. Clean and prepare surfaces for applications of plaster, cement, stucco, or similar materials, such as by drywall taping. Clean surfaces in preparation for work activities. Prepare surfaces for finishing. Create decorative textures in finish coat, using brushes or trowels, sand, pebbles, or stones. Apply decorative or textured finishes or coverings. Apply insulation to building exteriors by installing prefabricated insulation systems over existing walls or by covering the outer wall with insulation board, reinforcing mesh, and a base coat. Install insulation in equipment or structures. Rough the undercoat surface with a scratcher so the finish coat will adhere. Prepare surfaces for finishing. Spray acoustic materials or texture finish over walls or ceilings. Apply decorative or textured finishes or coverings. Mold or install ornamental plaster pieces, panels, or trim.Install trim or paneling. Fabricate parts or components. Starting pay is $11/hour during training. Gradual increases as you progress through your training. Any plastering or stucco experience will be considered towards starting pay, must have references.

Properly remove any approved materials (Baseboard, Drywall, Cabinets, Counter top, Laminate Floor, and several other building materials), and place the proper amount of equipment for the space in need of restoration Gain knowledge of fast drying practices and techniques to get the materials dry as fast as possible. You will also assist our Lead Technician in: Monitoring jobs daily, contacting and following up with homeowners for daily appointments. Taking moisture readings at each monitor, taking and uploading photos, readings, and notes into our DASH job database for our in-house representatives to use. Helping homeowners through the claims process. Rotate On-Call week/weekends where you are to answer, respond, and perform all above duties during and after hours for emergency issues that come up. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Qualifications and Skills High School graduate, or Equivalent education Valid Driver’s License, with good driving record 1-3 years’ prior work experience, preferably working in a business involving construction services Strong Communication, both written and verbal. Positive "Can-Do" attitude, and strong work ethic. Ability to use and handle computer/tablet/smart phone Experience and familiarity with light construction and tools (framing and flooring carpentry, simple plumbing) Ability to work both within a team, and independently. Bi-Lingual (Spanish) candidates are ideal, but not required.
