Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)
Direct or coordinate an organization's financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency.
Confer with board members, organization officials, or staff members to discuss issues, coordinate activities, or resolve problems.
Analyze operations to evaluate performance of a company or its staff in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.
Direct, plan, or implement policies, objectives, or activities of organizations or businesses to ensure continuing operations, to maximize returns on investments, or to increase productivity.
Prepare budgets for approval, including those for funding or implementation of programs.
Direct or coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products.
Negotiate or approve contracts or agreements with suppliers, distributors, federal or state agencies, or other organizational entities.
Review reports submitted by staff members to recommend approval or to suggest changes.
Appoint department heads or managers and assign or delegate responsibilities to them.
Direct human resources activities, including the approval of human resource plans or activities, the selection of directors o r other high-level staff, or establishment or organization of major departments.

Includes developing strong working relationships, understand and responding to supplier opportunities, being proactive and a good business partner.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: Masters degree from a university or equivalent preferred; at least 5 years of related experience, preferably previous management experience with an alcoholic beverage wholesaler or supplier and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents (such as general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations), write routine reports and correspondence, and to present information and respond to questions from groups of top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Spanish bilingual abilities preferred.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts (such as probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry) and apply concepts (such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations).
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions (in mathematical or diagram form), and to deal with several abstract and concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet, Microsoft Office Suite software (such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and etc.), and order processing systems, related to accounting (such as AS400 / Alpha Database software, Logility, Microstrategy, and etc.) or the aptitude to learn.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state

Tools: Calculators or accessories; High capacity removable media drives; Mobile phones; Notebook computers; Personal digital assistant PDAs or organizers
Technology: Data base user interface and query software; Electronic mail software; Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software; Human Resources software; Project management software
