Senior Electrician – Installation and Building Maintenance
This position requires an individual who is a self-starter, team player, and has excellent people skills. The Senior Electrician is to independently manage installation and service projects that include Energy Management Technologies, Electrical Vehicle Charging Stations, and Building Electrical Systems.
This position is expected to supervise, coordinate with, and provide directions to others who include Manufacture Representatives, Building Facility Managers, Building Owners, and other Trades.
EXPERIENCE:
Position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a certified licensed electrician in the State where projects are assigned.
Ability to teach and direct workers
Excellent communication skills -- Ability to interact well with Store/Facilities Managers and Maintenance Department personnel
Ability to read blueprints, run conduit, wire and terminate devices, perform quality control testing, and troubleshooting
Complete documentation and correspondence accurately and timely via smart phone or tablet applications
Implement a Corporate Safety Plan and when required prepare Job Site Safety Plans.
Good computer skills including proficiency with MS Office
Assign work duties and set job site policies
Order, receive, and distribute materials efficiently
Must hold a valid driver's license
Able to complete training to be certified to install various Energy Management Technologies including Electrical Vehicle Charging Stations
HVAC Systems, Electrical Power, and Controls
DDC and Pneumatic Controls
BMS/EMS, Lighting, General Maintenance Controls
Vendor Management
Electrical Supply and Distribution Systems
Re-lamping
Lighting system retrofits
Oversight of Emergency power supply system maintenance and troubleshooting
Oversight of System repairs
Knowledge of Local Codes, ADA, and OSHA is a requisite. Coordination with Local Authority having Jurisdiction to pull permits, coordinate inspections and obtain project approval.
Experience in Commercial, high-rise and low-rise buildings
JOB TYPE:
Candidate will be listed as a full-time employee. Job assignments be forwarded once negotiated and accepted by Company Home Office. The ideal Candidate will be able to accept, manage, and successfully complete a multi-Site Installation Roll-Out for an Energy Management Technology, where the sites are located within specified geographic locations. When required, travel and per diem will be provided. The ideal Candidate will be a Licensed Certified Electrician who is looking for an opportunity to provide various work assignments, as previously stated, which can supplement their assigned current workflow. COMPENSATION:
For each project assignment, an established piece work rate and roll-out schedule will be established. As per the schedule, travel and per diem will be established and documented within the project assignment.
REQUIRED:
Licensed Electrician in the State where work is to be assigned
Have reliable transportation
Accept shipments of supplies from the Manufacturers
Able to schedule and complete the projects, once assigned, with a 30-45 Day prior notification
Travel to other locations within the United States and US Territory’s to perform assigned jobs is required
PREFERRED:
Priority consideration for Licensed Electrical Contractors
